Welcome to Foundations of World History at SHS!

We live in an increasingly global world.  By the time you complete your school career, you will be competing for jobs against candidates from Bellevue to Beijing and from Redmond to Rio de Janiero.  In this interconnected and internationally demanding world, global awareness will be an indespensible skill.   This course is designed to promote students' global awareness through the continued development of historical thinking and reasoning skills.  

We are really excited to have you in our Foundations class this semester.   We look forward to creating a classroom culture that welcomes all students and helps them learn to work together.  If there is anything we can do to help you, please let us know.  We are here for you!
